Lauren Stark writes speculative fiction for readers of all ages. She is a co-constructor of other worlds, imagining otherwise through teaching, writing, and community organizing. A Fall 2025 graduate of Viable Paradise and the Tin House Online Speculative workshop, she has also workshopped her novels and stories at the Tin House Summer Workshop and the Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing. In much of her fiction, she draws on her doctoral research and scholarship on radical social movements. She lives with her beloved family - furry, found, and otherwise - on unceded Wabanaki lands in the U.S. and Canada.
